Through the Vortigaunt's Eye: Savages

After a lengthy time gap, part 3 of Through the Vortigaunt's Eye has arrived!

Chapter 4: Depletion

For approximately 1 1/2 weeks, the two Spirits travel at full speed to the star system. However, this is quite neglible, as they are only about two-tenths of a million miles from the derellict vessel. Many of them are hungry, and are incredibly distraught by dehydration.

Ari'Noira Tashika: "Regret. Reminisce. Ponder. Regret."

Shoq: "Why do meh sight balls smell whelks? De sight of meh eyes has been transferred to deh ears of my comrades in Kasheeta."

Wanar: "Y-y-your smelling blood. BLOOD AND FLESH AND BONE! EVERY PUTRID SMELL IS PRESENT ABOARD THIS MAGNET OF DAMNATION!"

Pilot: "I see a sphere. A blue and brown sphere... water and dirt combined in perfect harmony..."

Pilot 2: "That's not a sphere you moron! That's a planet!"

Ari'Noira Tashika: "A planet? I WANT YOU BOTH TO LAND ON IT! WE NEED FOOD! WE NEED WATER!"

But suddenly, blue lights inside the hulls of both Spirits begin to flicker simultaneously. A sharp alarm sound follows. The engines of both Spirits shut down, causing both transports to tip downward towards the planet. The force of the planet's gravitational pull is too great for the pilots to free the Spirits.

Wanar: "I feel... disorientated. First an annoying uproar from the speaker systems, and now we are sitting sideways."

Shoq: "Comrade, you are not alone. Meh feet are being forced into that direction as well. Perhaps we are-"

The outer plating of the Spirits begin to heat up, until most of the plates melt away. As soon as they enter the planet's mesosphere, an electromagnetic pulse turns off all of the technologies inside both troop carriers. A crate on the back of one of the Spirits falls off the back of it, and slowly freefalls into a pond.

Chapter 5: Abduction

Perhaps a few hours from the time he had landed, the Vortigaunt had begun regaining consciousness. He had never been frozen cryogenically before being captured by the SharpYar, so on awakening he enters great disorientation. There is a freezer burn on his shoulder, and the arm on his chest is numb and stiff.

Vortigaunt: "I must banish myself from this chamber of agony. They mustn't know of my mission!"

The Vortigaunt fires an energy blast at the container lid, unveiling an abundance of blinding light. He climbs out of the container and begins to readjust to natural lighting.

Vortigaunt: "Where am I?"

The Vortigaunt realizes he is no longer in space, but on a planet of earth and water. It had to have been primitive, due to the archaic plants that he had learned about while researching the kingdoms of life. But before he could investigate further, he is blinded by a bright blue light. Paralyzed, he is levitated into a circular spacecraft.

Unknown Reptomammalian: "We made a deal stranger. You may have caught the thing, but we paid for it."

????: "Tochi horo Yamatalia."

Unknown Reptomammalian: "You're damning yourself. Neither the Chat or the Resistance will allow anyone to take their power."

????: "You don't know what we are capable-"

The alien is shot in the chest by the reptomammal. He then grimaces at the Vortigaunt, and grabs an electric cattle prod off of a nearby weapons rack.

Unknown Reptomammalian: "Don't worry. I have plans for you..."

The Vortigaunt is hit numerous times by the cattle prod, rendering him unconscious. The spacecraft flies high up in the sky, until it reunites with its newly obtained home.

Chapter 6: Containment

Korus: "What kind of freak is that? I want a transfer!"

SharpYar Pirate 3: "Shut up! The last time you opened your mouth you alerted those mercenaries of our presence!"

Korus: "You honestly believe the Ari'Tosika about that? We wouldn't have lost our ship if it weren't for those insubordinate fireteams. I hope they rot on that derellict hellhole!"

Tien: "We would rather take this 'freak' than be cooped up in a cell with you."

Korus pulls his arm back, but realizes that he can't punch anyone with his hand restraints. He looks at the Vortigaunt 'freak" that was thrown into the cell nearly a minute ago, and starts rattling the restraint chains on the cell door.

Korus: "LET ME OUT YOU FURLESS OBURIAN DRAGONS!"

Tien: "Are you trying to get yourself killed?"

Korus: "Funny. You hate on me a few seconds ago, and now you are concerned about my life. Talk about mental insecurity."

SharpYar Pirate 3: "We would rather work under a full blooded Kig-Yar than be concerned about your well being!"

The inmates of the cell enter an uproar and start mobbing around Korus. What started out to be an attack on Korus transformed into a small scale riot. The inmates begin constricting each others airways, and kicking each other with their chained feet. Instead of interfering, the reptomammal guards watch as the inmates battle to the death.
